From Theatrical Rights Worldwide comes PURGAstory, a spirited original musical by Matt Webster and Taylor Ferrera. First developed in collaboration with NTPA Collegiate Pursuits, this brand-new work returns to Plano for the next phase of its development. The Story: When a group of high school students embarks on a seemingly ordinary school trip, they stumble into an old hotel and discover it is already occupied by ghosts. When the living and the dead realize they can see one another, what follows is a wildly entertaining mix of mystery, heart, and hilarity. This special staged reading brings the full musical to its feet as the cast works directly with Webster and Ferrera to continue shaping the show through rehearsal, performance, and new revisions. Featuring original songs, new material, and a talented ensemble of pre-professional performers, this is a rare opportunity to experience a new musical while it is still being created. Come see what happens next in the story of PURGAstory—and be able to say, “I saw it before everyone else.” Credits: In Partnership with Theatrical Rights Worldwide. Composed and written by Matt Webster & Taylor Ferrera.

Think you know Plano? Think again. This 75-minute walking tour takes you beyond the polished glow of Legacy West and into the city’s darker corners, where laughter meets the unexplained. Led by professional comedians with a flair for the dramatic, this experience is equal parts eerie, hilarious, and unexpectedly heartfelt … think The Office meets Dark Shadows, with a dash of Texas ghost pepper. Armed with real EMF readers and a sharp sense of humor, our guides lead you through Plano’s haunted past … exploring the stories, scandals, and spirits that still linger just beneath the surface. You’ll uncover chilling urban legends, haunted landmarks, and true local lore that’s been whispered across generations; from playful poltergeists and weeping children to flickering lights, phantom footsteps, and one particularly restless graveyard. (Yes, we’re talking about Baccas Cemetery, the 19th-century burial ground quietly wedged between modern buildings, where the past is far from buried.) Along the way, you’ll walk in the footsteps of Plano’s earliest settlers, frontier families, and the few who apparently never left. Each stop brings a new story … rooted in real history, backed by local legend, and told by guides who know how to balance goosebumps with punchlines. So, no … we’re not about cheap jump scares. But things do go bump in the night. Guests have reported chills, flickering EMF spikes, strange photos, and that unmistakable feeling that something unseen might just be tagging along. Grab your friends, charge your phones, and prepare to laugh, gasp, and maybe clutch your drink a little tighter. This isn’t your average ghost tour; it’s haunted history, reimagined with humor, heart, and a healthy dose of the supernatural. 🔦 Tour Highlights & Essentials 📍 Starts & ends at: Mic Drop Comedy Plano – 7301 Lone Star Dr, Suite A-110⏱️ Duration: ~75 mins | Distance: ~1.4 miles🎟️ Ticket includes:A professionally guided walking tour of Plano’s haunted pastComedic narration by professional performersOne (1) VIP return ticket to a future Mic Drop Comedy show (non-special event)🧟 What to Bring:Comfy shoes you can run in… just in caseA flashlight (or a fully charged phone)A brave friend (or five)Tips appreciated – your guide’s risking hauntings for your entertainment🪦 Warning: Laughing while spooked may occur.
