Poetry Writing Workshop with Arapahoe Community College

About

Poetry belongs to everyone. In this generative workshop, we'll explore how the music of language can shape meaning and spark new writing. Through close listening and some focused prompts, participants will discover that poetry is more than following rules. Poets will work on the art of good listening to be better writers. Writers of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Please bring a notebook. You may also bring a poem-in-progress or an old draft you want to revisit. Location: Cloud Forest.
