Teen Advisory Board

About

Make your voice heard in this core group of middle- and high-schoolers who help decide the library’s teen services, meet new friends, and gain volunteer hours in service to the library. Teen Advisory Board members may volunteer at library events, review collections and suggest purchases, and represent the teen voice at Library Board of Directors meetings. Older members of the Board mentor younger members until they’re able to join as a full member (13-18). Free pizza and snark at every meeting. A note from the current teen Board Members: The everyday shorthand name of this group is TA-the-“b”-is-silent,-if-you-pronounce-the-“b”-we’ll-expel-you. Feel free to read into that what you will in terms of our group character.
