Community Wide Packing Event

About

The Castle Rock Impact and Kiwanis Club of Castle Rock will join forces on Saturday, November 28, 2026 to hold the third annual Sweet Dream in a Bag packing event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Kirk Hall. Sweet Dream in a Bag is a 501(c)3 public charity that gifts children living in poverty with a new bedding package. The community is invited to kick off the season of giving at this bed packing family friendly event. This event qualifies for high school community service hours credit. We hope that this experience will share the joy of giving, helping, volunteering and be something attendees will remember for a lifetime. Cold winter nights are on the horizon, and we want to ensure that all children have access to warm, cozy bedding. Through our fundraising efforts, 200 children will be provided bedding. Our hope is to give every child an opportunity to live on a more even playing field, by first starting with a warm place to sleep - playing a vital role in their health and well-being. Let's start with making a difference for these 200 children.
